Sample Itinerary:

Arrival Day: Friday, July 22 Lima 

Arrival in Lima. Optional City Tour and group dinner for early arrivals.

Day 2: Saturday, July 23 Cuzco

Early morning flight departure for Cuzco. Free morning and afternoon tour of Cuzco city, surrounding area and ruins.

Day 3: Sunday, July 24 Quillabamba

Ground travel to Quillabamba, stopping at local communities along the way. Evening welcome celebration with women farmers of Peru.

Day 4: Monday, July 25 Quillabamba

Visit to dry mill and export operation of COCLA cooperative. Visit local farming communities to witness the coffee process and gain an understanding of the local lifestyle.

Day 5: Tuesday, July 26 Quillabamba

Enjoy time at the local coffee cultural festival and anniversary celebration of COCLA cooperative.

Day 6: Wednesday, July 27 Quillabamba

Meet with members of the Sumaqtanta women’s cooperative in their third anniversary celebration.  Participate in tasting sessions,.

Day 7: Thursday, July 28 Ollantaytambo

Day travel toward Macchu Picchu with a visit to a coffee community along the way.

Day 8: Friday, July 29 Macchu Picchu

Take the train to the Aguas Calientes and onto the  site of the spectacular Macchu Picchu ruins. For the hearty travelers – take a six hour hike along the Inka Trail, with lunch on the way, to meet up with the rest of the group for a guided tour of the Macchu Picchu ruins.

Day 9: Saturday, July 30 Cusco

Morning travel to Cusco and free day to explore the city.

Day 10: Sunday, July 31 Departures 

Early morning train from Macchu Picchu to Cuzco for afternoon flight to Lima and evening international flight departures.  (Arrival to the US on Monday morning)
